We Are All Family

What an incredible message from an 8 year old and 5 year old. We are all family, we love each other, we are kind, we are loving and we are smart.

I know this concept isn't a new one but imagine just for a moment if we all treated each other with love, respect, openness & kindness. What kind of world would we live in? It would be an incredible place to live and work. Amazing amounts of energy are wasted on hate, exclusion, disrespect, anger and frustration. But if we could just remember each others humanity, that we are family, it would be a beautiful place to wake up into. Not to mention, if thats how we treated each other -- we would likely be giving ourselves the same grace. If this is the kind of thing that elementary school children innately know, then what, where and how do we loose it? Blame it on the Harry & Megan docuseries -- or maybe it was the new Avatar movie, I saw over the weekend but I for one would prefer to live in a way & in a world like this one. A fort built from love & cardboard where all are welcomed & loved because we are family.
